Getting the most out of lessons

Establish routines designed for success in the new year. 
Work out a practice schedule that can be maintained.
Do some review as well as working on the lesson for the week.
Parent, spend some time visiting the lesson to see how your child is playing for the teacher. Coach several practice sessions at home each week to see that progress is made during practice.
